Rochdale Company of Archers have a bid for (up to £6000) from the Nat West comunity force scheme. They will use the money to "purchase" coaching hours for use in schools and other groups in the local community.

Congratulations to the Girls Recurve Team, the mixed Senior Recurve Team and the Recurve Ladies for their achievements at the Inter-Counties weekend held at Assheton. See more here.
Some equipment has been stolen from Assheaton Bowmen. Please look out for: Samick Athlete RH red, Black Hoyt Horizon, Hoyt Avilon 25” Maroon RH, Ultatec RH Compound silver, Trainer bows, Arrow Finder metal detector.
These are yet to be ratified, but congratulations to Helen Taylor of Chorley Bowmen who shot UK national records for the Single York (1036) & Double York (1947) at the GNAM at Eccles in July.

Kate Moss the Archery GB National Schools and Young People Coordinator has agreed to be Lady Paramount at the LAA Junior Championships. Kate will be taking the opportunity to talk to our next generation of archers and their parents during the day.
